What is the Cops and Firefighters with Businesses Network (CFBnetwork.com)?
CFBnetwork is the Nation's Largest FREE Referral Network for Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters and their spouses that have businesses outside of their public service careers. The network includes both active and retired personell. Law Enforcement Officers include Correction Officers, FBI Agents, and other related agencies.
Is It Really FREE?
Yes, www.CFBnetwork.com is 100% FREE, with no plans to charge at any point in the future. We do have additional advertising opportunities for ads in flyers we distribute and banner ads on the website.
How is it possible that businesses can advertise for FREE?
A few years after retiring from the City of Miami Beach Police Department (due to an on-the-job injury), I entered the mortgage industry. When the network was originally formed in 2000, business was great, so I decided to fund the project myself through my income as a mortgage broker.
What if my spouse owns a business, can it be listed on the www.CFBnetwork.com website?
The answer is YES! Our goal is to help build the financial stability for you and your family while offering outstanding products and services to our brotherhood and to the community. We encourage the involvement of your spouse in our network.
What if I'm not the owner of the business, but I am an employee or run the business, for example a car salesman or a driving instructor for a driving school?
As long as you fit our profile of a Law Enforcement Officer or Firefighter and this business is what you currently do for a living or to supplement your income, your business will be approved!
Why use businesses listed on the CFB Network?
Police Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics, FBI Agents, etc. are typically individuals of high integrity. They are only hired after extensive background checks including both criminal and civil investigations. You trust them as your partners, and you trust them with your life; why not trust them in their businesses?
Can my business be listed Nationwide?
YES, if you have the ability to do business Nationwide, there is a box during the registration process to check either Local or Nationwide.
What if I am already listed on another website through my department or union?
NO PROBLEM, join us anyway - IT'S FREE! The more exposure you receive for your business, the better. Our service is completely FREE!
How do I get started?
To register your business, click "REGISTER" on the upper right hand corner of the Home Page and follow the simple directions. One of the most important steps in the registration process is to enter as many "keywords" as possible to describe your business so that when anyone is trying to search for a product or service your business name will show up.
